Hello, and welcome to my little corner of the internet! My name is Jeffrey D. Parker. I’m a father, husband, and Assistant District Attorney in Texas. I’ve spent years working in the legal field, and while I’m passionate about my work, there’s a lot more to who I am than just the cases I prosecute. This blog is a place where I can share my thoughts, interests, and whatever I find intriguing at the moment. It’s a space for me to explore topics that catch my attention, whether they’re legal insights, personal experiences, or random musings.
Why a blog, you ask? I’ve grown a bit weary of social media and its fast-paced, attention-grabbing nature. I wanted to create a space that’s more personal and reflective—somewhere I can write at length about the things that matter to me, without algorithms or timelines dictating what I should post or when. This site is not just about sharing my views, but also about slowing down, thinking things through, and engaging with ideas on a deeper level.
I won’t be sharing my personal life in too much detail, but you might get glimpses into my day-to-day, my work, or my interests. I enjoy a variety of topics—from law and justice to technology, culture, and even some light-hearted reflections on life as a dad and husband. Think of it as a journal of sorts, open to anyone curious enough to read.
The purpose of this blog is pretty simple: I’m just here to write, reflect, and share. There are no ads, no pop-ups asking you to subscribe, and no comment sections. It’s just a place for genuine thoughts and ideas. If you’re interested in reading along, great. If not, that’s okay too. I’m mostly doing this for me, but I hope that along the way, others might find something here worth their time.
So, thanks for stopping by. I hope you’ll find some of the content interesting, and maybe even a little thought-provoking. Feel free to check back whenever you like—there’s no schedule here, just occasional updates whenever inspiration strikes.
